The Parsons Green Sports & Social Club
Founded in 1886, The Parsons Green Sports & Social Club is a private members sports and social club located in Fulham. The Club has undergone a major development which completed in the autumn of 2019.
The new facilities include 6 floodlit tennis courts, 2 squash courts, a bowling green, a croquet lawn and snooker room with two full size tables. After playing sports, or if you just want somewhere to socialise, members & their guests can enjoy a beverage and relax at the members bar.
The new clubhouse also offers corporate and private function space available for hire with a fully functioning Bar.
On Monday 23 November, the Prime Minister announced that all areas of England would return to a tiered system of coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions. The tiered system was also adapted to allow grassroot sports and outdoor activity to operate under all tiers. We are therefore pleased to announce the re-opening of parts of the Club and its facilities.
From Wednesday 2 December, the Tennis courts, Squash Courts, Bowls green, Croquet lawn and Racquets Pavilion, will re-open to members. It is important to note the following:
Squash court bookings: You may only play squash with people from the same household or support bubble.
Tennis court bookings: You may play singles, doubles and groups of up to 6 people. Tennis members will be informed in a separate communication as to how to purchase floodlight tokens. Club nights will commence from Tuesday 8 December.
Bowls and Croquet: Please contact the Club to obtain information on how to gain access to equipment.
Guests: all guests must be registered on the booking system and check in using the NHS track and trace app at the pedestrian entrance.
Booking Check-in: Members are not required to check-in to their bookings until further notice. Please continue to add all opponents on the booking system.
The main Clubhouse building including the Bar, Snooker Room and changing room facilities will remain closed until further notice. This is largely due to the Government restriction on the hospitality sector whereby beverages can only be sold with a substantial meal. We ask that those members who wish to play Tennis, Squash, Croquet or Bowls to use the Sulivan Road pedestrian gate, your membership card will give you access.
The interior work to the Clubhouse will continue during this period and we are making very good progress with this.
We understand that whilst we are unable to open the Clubhouse entirely we will continue to monitor Government and sporting body advice, and as soon as we can, we will open the remainder of the Club and its facilities.
We ask all members to continue to adhere to the guidelines put in place and we can all continue again to enjoy the Club grounds.
