Membership
If you are interested in membership and want to have a look around you can visit the club any evening of the week. One of the directors (if present) or our bar staff will be happy to answer all your questions. For more detailed questions about individual sports sections which aren't covered on our website we recommend you email us using the appropriate email address on the Contact Us page.
Once you have decided to become a member of Parsons Green Club it couldn't be easier!
We would prefer new members to visit the club in person to hand in a fully completed application form together with a cheque for the full amount (posting it to us is an acceptable alternative). If director Tom Bright is present he will be able to issue you with a receipt for your cheque, a yellow shoe tag (for racquet sports only) and a key card enabling you to access the club during opening hours without ringing the buzzer. If Tom is not there then you can leave your application form and return to collect the key card and tag within a day or so.
Subscriptions for the membership year 2008/09 commencing 1 April 2008 are as follows:-
Notes:
1. Senior applies to members > 60 years on 31Mar08;
2. Members electing to play more than one sport should choose the most expensive sport as their Main Category and add £50 for each additional sport (i.e. Tennis and Squash = £295 (tennis) + £50 for Squash = £345);
3. Off Peak means until 5.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) only;
4. If joining after 30 June there is a reduction of subscription charges depending on sport. For Tennis or Social this is approximately a 25% reduction for each quarter of the membership year;
5. For Squash which is predominantly a winter sport the reductions are less
6. For summer sports Bowls and Croquet the reductions are 50% after 1 July and from 1 October it makes sense to join as a Social member as
7. Squash court fee is £2 per session from 1 April 2008;
Examples:
New adult member applying for squash only £275 + £50 joining fee = £325;
Two existing adult members renewing tennis and adding a junior member would pay 2x £295 + £65 = £655 less family discount 10% (rounded down to nearest £1) = £590;
Existing squash members wishing to add tennis must pay Tennis (£295) + £50 for Squash = £345;
