Dating back to the 19th century where it was a popular recreational activity among the British elite, croquet has become a popular activity for many members. However, it wasn’t until 1909 that croquet was officially introduced as a sport at our Members club.
Since then, it has become a favorite pastime for many, both socially and among external groups. Croquet is not only an enjoyable game but also offers numerous benefits.

Additionally, it promotes physical activity as players must navigate the course and swing the mallet to hit the balls accurately. Bowls
Bowls, a beloved sport at our esteemed club since 1907, has always held a special place in our members’ hearts.
Over the years, our team has showcased their skills in away matches due to ongoing development on-site. Participating in the Middlesex League, we’ve had the pleasure of witnessing remarkable victories, including the impressive three-time singles champion, Simon Jee. Our expansive bowling green, spanning 38×38 square meters, boasts seven rinks for our members to enjoy.
